This medicine is used in the management of mild to moderate plaque psoriasis (most common form of psoriasis characterized by marked redness and itchy patches).
Side effects of Calcipotriol
Patients using this medication may at times experience pruritis (severe itchy skin), rash, and folliculitis (inflammation of hair follicles). If you experience any of these symptoms for a long period of time, consult your doctor immediately.
When not to use Calcipotriol
This medicine should not be used in patients with calcium metabolism disorder, and severely impaired renal (kidney) or hepatic (liver) functions.
Uses of Betamethasone
This medicine is used in the treatment of non-infected inflammatory conditions of eye, ear or nose.
Side effects of Betamethasone
Patients using this medication may at times experience corneal thinning, cataract, and rise in intraocular (eye) pressure. If you experience any of these symptoms for a long period of time, consult your doctor immediately.
When not to use Betamethasone
This medicine should not be used in patients with viral, fungal or tuberculous infections.
