Uses of Catafen
Catafen is used for short term therapy of post traumatic inflammation, post operative pain and vertebral pain. It is also used in the treatment of ENT (ear-nose-throat) infections.
Side effects of Catafen
Catafen can cause stomach upset, vertigo, headache, dizziness, ulcer, hepatitis, allergy, kidney problems, disturbance of sensation, blood problems, increased liver enzymes or stomach bleeding.
When not to use Catafen
Diclofenac potassium should not be used by patients allergic to aspirin, prostaglandin synthesis inhibitor drugs and patients with active peptic ulcer.

Breast Feeding
Research suggests that Catafen is not safe to be used during breastfeeding. Please consult your doctor before taking it.
