Please consult your doctor before taking this medicine if you have a hormone dependent carcinoma (a cancer sensitive to hormones)

This medicine is used as an oral contraceptive

Side effects of Drospirenone

Some patients taking this medicine might experience headache, GI upset (upset stomach), nausea, feeling of tension in breast, depressive moods or changes in libido (sexual desire). If you experience any of these symptoms please consult your doctor.

When not to use Drospirenone

Avoid this medicine if you’re pregnant. Please consult your doctor before taking this medicine if you have any of these conditions; Jaundice, severe liver disease, benign or malignant liver tumours.
