Uses of Zurig

This medication is recommended in the management of chronic hyperuricemia (increased concenteration of uric acid in the blood).

Side effects of Zurig

Patients using this medication may at times experience GI (stomach) upset, headaches, and rashes. If you experience any of these symptoms for a long period of time, consult your doctor immediately.

When not to use Zurig

This medication should not be used in acute gout (sudden, severe pain and tenderness in the joints).

Please avoid driving when taking this medicine as it may affect your ability to drive.

Pregnancy

This medication should not be used in pregnancy.

Breast Feeding

This medication should not be used by lactating mothers.
